You’ll be fishing on a 26’ offshore sportfishing boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. This is one of the fastest boats in its class, reaching a speed of 40 knots per hour. The vessel is by no means a luxury yacht, it is modest and functional, this is about getting down to it and for that Gavin has all kinds of equipment for the most effective and fun fishing trip, such as a fighting chair, outriggers, downriggers, a live bait tank, and a wireless trolling engine.

I took a 4 hour shared trip with Gavin and also a 7 hour private trip. First let me start by saying, this captain knows his stuff. He has been fishing these waters for 30+ years and it shows. He was able to teach me techniques for how they fish here and what to do to be most effective. I did prefer the 7 hour private trip as we got to target the species I was after, namely tuna. Gavin went over and above to ensure I had a wonderful time. I would recommend him to anyone visiting Costa Adeje that wants to go fishing. He is the best! Cheers Gavin!
